Numerous reports, including Mashable's own coverage, were published on Wednesday about a new hacker tool called DarkSword that is being used to target iPhones.

A powerful iPhone -hacking technique called DarkSword has been discovered in use by Russian hackers.

According to the researchers, DarkSword has been discovered embedded within several legitimate Ukrainian websites, including at least one with a “.gov.ua” domain.
